No morning in Grenada is complete without a cup of cocoa tea! A Caribbean specialty, cocoa tea does not actually contain tea--it's a unique blend of ground cocoa nibs, bayleaf, nutmeg, and cinnamon. It's packed full of healthy spices and antioxidants. A perfect way to start the day!
The tin includes approximately 14 cocoa tea balls, depending on the size of the cocoa tea balls (these are handmade in Grenada, so sizes and shapes vary slightly).

One cocoa tea ball makes 2 to 3 cups of cocoa tea, depending on the desired strength of flavor.
Place once cocoa ball in two cups of water. Bring to a boil until the cocoa dissolves. Add a milk and sweetner of your choice, or enjoy it plain. Stir thoroughly before serving. Add additional spices for even more flavor, as many Grenadians do!
